HVAC, Furnaces, Boilers, other Gas Equipment and Insulation
HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, furnaces and boilers, use a lot of energy. Proper selection, installation, operation, and maintenance of these systems help control seasonal spikes in energy usage, and can improve comfort and air quality in your facility. Incentives are available for both electric and gas systems.
The program provides additional rebates for measures that improve the efficiency of your gas or electric equipment and assist in reducing energy usage including insulation, pre-rinse spray valves and infiltration control measures.
The rebates on many of the measures have been increased effective 6/1/2011. Please review the updated measure and rebate table below for the full list of measures. Highlights include:

Application Process
- XACT - Application and Incentive Calculation Tool
The XACT tool assists customers and Market Partners in completing the program application and forms needed to participate in the program. Features and benefits include:
- Excel–based application and calculation tool.
- Drop down menu of each program measure and incentive calculation data (including baseline ranges for allowable installation costs).
- Ensures energy-savings and incentive calculations are accurate.
- Reduces pre-approval time by minimizing the need for multiple reviews of the project between the program and you.

+All weatherization projects will be rebated based on projected first year’s estimated savings at a rate of $2 per Therm and $0.12 per kWh. The upper limit for the rebate will be 70% of total project costs. Projects require detailed energy savings calculations in the scope of work based on gas and electric savings only.
